Please keep Pastor Carl in your prayers. His new kidney is working wonderfully, however his immune system is suppressed by 80% and he cannot be around crowds of people. Lord willing, he and Alice will be back in service on the weekend of the 17th and 18th to speak the final message of the love series!

February 1, 2018 – 1:38pm

Pastor Carl’s new kidney is functioning beyond our expectations!
Aside from the normal recovery from surgery, he is doing well.
He and Alice want to thank everyone for all of your prayers, cards, and gifts.

January 22, 2018 – 12:45pm

As expected, Pastor Carl was officially released from the hospital yesterday. He is doing well.
Due to good doctor reports and healthy charts, Michelle Rhea was also discharged yesterday.
“Praise the Lord, my soul;
all my inmost being, praise His holy name!!”
– Psalm 103:1

January 19, 2018 – 7:55pm

Pastor Carl’s recovery is going better than expected.
He is on target to be released from the hospital on Sunday afternoon.
Michelle Rhea is still recovering from the surgery and she is eager to get home.
Thank you for your continued prayers.
To You, our strength, we will sing praises!!

January 18, 2018 – 2:55pm

Pastor Carl is still making a healthy recovery with the new kidney at work in his body.
As of earlier this morning, he is up and walking.
Michelle Rhea is recovering quite nicely, walking and expecting to go home from the hospital Friday afternoon.
The Stephens, Bland, and Rhea families as well as everyone here at Faith Assembly are continuing to praise God through this entire process.
BLESSED BE THE NAME OF OUR HEALER FOREVER!

January 17, 2018 – 1:00pm

Pastor Carl successfully received his kidney transplant today as scheduled.
Michelle, his kidney donor and niece, got out of her surgery around 10:30 am this morning and is expected to make a quick recovery.
Just after noon, doctors reported a successful transplant, and the kidney is already working wonderfully in Pastor Carl’s body.
Continue praying for peace for the Stephens family; wisdom for the doctors; as well as strength and a speedy recovery for Pastor Carl.
ALL GLORY TO THE LORD — FOR HE HAS DONE GREAT THINGS!
