SUMMARY

This is a hourly, full-time position located at the Converge headquarters in Orlando, Florida. Processes and records donations to accounts and maintains remittance records for Converge by performing the following duties:

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Preparing daily deposits and make journal entries to post.
• Enter checks received by mail.
• Scanning/depositing checks.
• Posting receipts from Authorize.Net everyday & entering for the day specified.
• Assist donors with credit cards and e-checks recurring and one-time gifts through Authorize.net. Refunds, discontinuing support, adjustments to the donor’s support. Missing support.
• Answering accounts receivable phone inquiries and follows up.
• Calls and/or mails correspondence to customers as necessary to update accounts.
• Sort mail daily. (Two people required by auditors).
• Maintain 5th & 20th automatic withdrawal journals, post each month.
• Assists with special projects, as necessary.
• Send out weekly receipts & Year End Receipts.
• Order checks for the office.
• Responsible for A/R procedures for auditors.
• Scan all records for the fiscal year.
• Master number maintenance in Navision & CRM.
• Updating address information & creating new donors in NAV.
• ACH returns from JP Morgan.
• End of month reports for Accounting Director from MY Well & Authorize.net.
• Maintain Accounting email questions that come from the website.
• Any other duties assigned by Director of Accounting or CFO.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and/or Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 2 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Skills
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Mathematical Skills
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

Reasoning Ability
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
