Murphy Lighting Systems

$14/hr – $17/hr

Fast paced position for energetic, customer-oriented professional who enjoys solving
problems. Receive phone calls and emails from customers who need help, then bring
the proper people together to make it happen. Schedule Service Technicians to make
repairs at customer’s locations and at our facility; coordinate repairs with manufacturers;
order parts and supplies… so what needs to be done to take care of the customer!
A high school diploma is required for this position. The Service Department Administraor
needs to have great communication and problem-solving skills. Building partnerships
and good relationships with Service Technicians and clients is a must to succeed in this
role.

• Outstanding mathematics abilities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Quickbooks knowledge (preferred)
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities
• Able to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
• Theatre background (preferred)
• Knowledge of lighting equipment and systems (preferred)
• Prompt, reliable, and dependable
• Accurate (attention to detail)
• Works well under pressure
• Able to perform as a part of a team

Responsibilities:
• Establish and maintain relationships with clients and vendors
• Handle phone calls and emails related to Service Department and other traffic
• Request quotes from vendors and suppliers
• Schedule and coordinate technicians’ schedules
• Prepare detailed quotes for customers
