Alpha is an environmental, energy and safety solutions company that works with residential construction companies to serve and consult for them. On our Environmental Field Services side, we are mainly seeking individuals that like working outside doing a mixture of landscaping and construction. We also look for individuals that have some leadership experience along with the mixture of landscaping and construction work. and Professional Services. On our Professional Services side, we are seeking individuals that have some environmental science background or experience on a construction site. The Environmental Field Services Specialist is responsible for the installation and maintenance of erosion control materials and tools.

- Work in a safe, efficient, manner wearing proper protective equipment at all times while working
- Install and remove Silt Fence
- Install protection to Storm Inlets
- Work with heavy duty hand tools (sledge hammer/shovels, etc.)
- Install various types of erosion control measures (BMPs) as prescribed by reporting agencies
- Present a professional, positive, and helpful attitude at all times while interacting with customers and co-workers
- Work to make sure client sites are clean and presentable after installing BMPs

This job operates in an outdoor environment. This role routinely uses standard erosion control equipment such as silt fence, sledge hammer, and shovels. Some of the work will require exposure to loud noises extended periods of time outside.
This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a full-time position. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 40 hours a week.
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Education and Experience
- High School Diploma or GED required
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
1. Knowledge of general construction is a plus
- Landscaping background is a plus
- Good driving record preferred
