In this message, Pastor Johnnie unpacked Mark 5:1–20 and reminded us that biblical deliverance is spiritual rescue—God intervening to liberate us from sin, darkness, deception, destruction, and fear. The man who once lived among tombs, tormented and out of control, was transformed by the authority of Christ’s word and found sitting, clothed, and in his right mind. Deliverance is something Jesus does for us. Where we are unclean, uncontrolled, deceived, or afraid, He still has power to set us free. The same Savior who crossed the sea for one broken man is still pursuing people today. Freedom is not a myth, and bondage is not final. Jesus still delivers—and His mercy is available to all who seek Him.
