About This Service
January 14, 2026 Service. Join us for worship with Faith Worship Arts, followed by a devotional by Pastor Marcos Gonzalez.
In this message, we reflect on Genesis 32:23–32, where Jacob wrestles with God through the night and emerges forever changed. This passage mirrors the heart of prayer and fasting—a season of intentional seeking where we lay aside comfort, control, and distractions to contend for God’s presence. Like Jacob, we come to God honest, desperate, and unwilling to let go without His blessing. The struggle may be uncomfortable, and it may leave us humbled, but it is often in these moments of spiritual wrestling that God reshapes our identity and deepens our dependence on Him. As Jacob walked away with a limp and a new name, we are reminded that seeking God wholeheartedly may cost us something—but it also draws us into deeper surrender, renewed faith, and lasting encounter with Him.
