Jesus teaches that giving isn’t optional for the believer—it’s a spiritual discipline that reveals the location of our heart, confirms who or what we serve, and demonstrates whether God truly holds first place in our lives. We were encouraged to see tithing not as an obligation, but as a faith-building principle that fuels the mission of the local church and aligns our resources with God’s kingdom purposes. When we give first to God, we make room for Him to bring order, provision, and eternal impact—because seeking Him first changes everything.
