Faithful, Not Famous: Judas vs. Matthias

About This Service

April 9, 2025 service. Join us for worship led by Faith Worship Arts, followed by our Wednesday sermon series, “D12,” with Pastor David Bush.

In this message, Pastor David Bush explores the life and legacy of Judas Iscariot—and the man who replaced him, Matthias. Judas was chosen, trusted, and empowered by Jesus, yet his story ends in heartbreak and betrayal. Through his downfall, we are reminded of the importance of guarding our hearts, resisting temptation, and walking in daily surrender. In contrast, Matthias stands as a quiet example of faithfulness, ready and willing to step into God’s calling. Their stories challenge us to stay alert, pursue repentance, and walk in truth—so that we finish our race well, faithful to the very end.
