The Orlando Housing Authority is seeking an ASSISTANT TO THE TECHNICAL DIRECTOR (OPERATIONS)
IN THE CENTRAL MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree supplemented by three (3) years of experience in building trades, general construction, project management, or closely related field. Conducts need assessments of assigned units. Develops work scope based on investigation. Coordinates construction bidding and contract awarding processes. Coordinates the pre-bid meetings with potential bidders. Coordinates bid review with low bidder. Coordinates pre-construction meetings with contractors. Provides liaison with property managers. Performs Davis-Bacon interviews, documents compliance with wage requirements. Must possess and maintain a Florida General Contractor License. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida driver’s license and be insurable.
